Tenette Smith
Born and raised on the west side of Chicago, Tenette was brought up in a very musical family whom inspired her to sing. She begin singing at the age of 15, which at this time she started performing at family junctions such as family reunions, block parties, and local talent shows. Tenette begin high school and recorded her first group album called "Mixed Emotions" then soon branched off to pursue her solo career which has taken off with the help of CD Music Management. She was recently invited to headline for a lot of well known Stepper Sets in the Chicago area and many legendary old school groups such as The Intruders, The Delponics, The Blue notes and Slave! She is currently working on her new album “Here2Stay” under her production company LeeWorks Music Group which has dropped two singles from her CD. Rebellion The buzz has been about a rock group, The Rebellion, taking center stage and there is no holding back. Angelikenisis aka “Angel”(vocals), J-Sin (drums), Abzent Minded(guitar), Byron(guitar), B-Dogg (bass), and DJ Ceez are the hot new artists that make up The Rebellion who have signed with Rock & Soul Records. B-Dogg, Abzent, and Byron are natives to Southern California, Angelikenesis comes from Atlanta, J-Sin and DJ Ceez are from Florida. These men come from humble beginnings—things weren’t handed to them. Their debut album for “The Gate 11:11” will be released in 2010—with their highly anticipated singles being simultaneously released, “Grown and Sexy” (a more urban vibe) and “Kingdom of the Light” (more rock influenced). Growing up they knew that if they wanted to live out their dreams, with the right determination and charisma, they would learn integrity, and knowledge of the world. Signed to Rock & Soul Records, the band had an opportunity to write and play the music they love and are passionate about—fusing both rock and hip-hop into one.
